By one historic ray, as has been set forth otherwise, the land of Egypt symbolizes the Hiddekelic and Gihonic ages combined; while, by another ray, the Hiddekelic and Gihonic ages, in their relationship to the land of Egypt, in turn represent the second, third, fourth, and fifth creative days as Egypt. But Messiah was begotten as the Son of God in the beginning of the Euphratic age. When, therefore, in obedience to the word of the Lord, "Out of Egypt have I called my son." Messiah made his advent in the Euphratic age he sprang out of Egypt as the fifth creative day into the sixth.

And so, also, when he made his advent in the Pisonic age he sprang out of Egypt as the Gihonic age into the Pisonic that, in the Pisonic, he might fulfill the special missions to which he was called; notably so in his personalities as the Son of man, and as the Seed of woman. Special missions pertaining to the Creative Days were fulfilled by the First Person of the Holy Trinity; and, during the Euphratic, Hiddekelic, and Gihonic ages, by the Third Person. Now, since the Three Persons of the Trinity are equal it follows that the fullness of the Godhead dwells in each Person bodily; of which indications will be given later on.

In continuation of the Egyptional ray, Messiah was first begotten as the Son of man in the day of Abraham the patriarch as the Seed of Abraham the patriarch. In the day of Jacob the patriarch, however, the children of Israel went down into the land of Egypt, and among them Messiah, possibly, through his reincarnation, in his personality as the Seed of Hezron (see Ind. of Genesis, p. 376).

his sons: Reuben, Jacob's firstborn.

" And the sons of Reuben; Hanoch, and Phallu,
and Hezron, and Carmi.

Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a
Canaanitish woman.

'' And the sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and
Merari.

" And the sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and

were Hezron and Hamul.

Jacob in Padan-aram, with his daughter Dinah: all
the souls of his sons and his daughters were thirty and

When, therefore, the children of Israel came out of Egypt, Messiah came with them, possibly in his personality as the Seed of Amminadab (Hur), thus, by another historic ray, in literal fulfillment of the mandate "Out of Egypt have I called my son." The sequential ray now follows that the departure of Joseph the son of Heli, together with Jesus the young child, and Mary his mother, into the land of Egypt was due, in past that the narrative history thus involved might be said "Out of Egypt have I called my son" as covering the esoteric ray. The departure for Egypt being accomplished by night also symbolizes the descent of Messiah into the darkness of natural death, and into the blackness of absolute death; both of which were fulfilled immediately subsequent to his crucifixion as Jesus the Seed of the woman. Wherefore, after the three days and three nights were fulfilled in this Egyptian darkness Messiah came forth from the pit, also in fulfillment of command "Out of Egypt have I called my son;" Jesus, himself, having said

"I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my father."

Hence, this commandment comprehends all the vitality of the saying "Out of Egypt have I called my son." The absolute death and resurrection of Messiah as the Godhead, and in his personalities as the Son of God, the Son of man, and the Seed of woman, confirms triumph over his enemies: of which the Dragon, called Satan, is chief, and, hence, of their sure condemnation; the heavens, as an embodiment of revelation to the ancients, whomsoever they may be, bearing witness of the same.

In furtherance of the advancements thus made the Equilateral Triangle symbolizes the Three Persons of the Holy Trinity as conjoined in One; their equality being manifested by the three equal angles and the three equal sides thereof; while the fullness of the Godhead dwelling in each Person is indicated in the symbol of the space subtended by their respective angles.

Now, by reference to the Second Temple, Sirius (the Arcturus of Job) symbolizes the Third Person of the Holy Trinity; Sol, the sun of our solar system, symbolizes the Second Person; and Alcyone of the Pleiades symbolizes the First Person of the Holy Trinity. But, in taking up the fullness of the Godhead in relation to the Third Person it will be found that Sirius, the symbol of the Third Person, is located in the beautiful constellation Canis Major. Further observations of the heavens will show that Procyon, a star of the first magnitude, is located in Canis Minor, thus, through the names, showing a relationship between these two constellations as recognized by those of old time. Now by constructing an equilateral triangle upon the line connecting Sirius with Procyon it will be found that the vertex falls upon the magnificent star Betelgeuse in the constellation of which the Lord said to Job "canst thou loose the bands of Orion?" These three great suns, therefore (see, also, Rev. i. 11-16), in their relationship to this triangle, with its subtending angles, indicate the fullness of the Godhead as dwelling in the Third Person. Moreover, in relation to the constellation of Dogs (see, also, Ps. xxii. 11-16, lix. 1-15; Phil. iii. 2) it must be kept in view that as Sirius and Procyon are found in these constellations so the Third Person was in the world, was in the midst of his enemies during the test for the attainment of righteousness during the first three ages of man, and was thus subject to tribulation and temptation.

By the symbolism of the Second Temple, as already stated, Alcyone of the Pleiades, or perhaps, the unseen Pleiad, represents the First Person of the Holy Trinity, or, otherwise, the Father whom no man hath seen at any time. Wherefore, upon the line from Betelgeuse to the Pleiads construct another equilateral triangle, when it will be seen that the vertex thereof falls upon one of a group of stars in the constellation Auriga forming a species of crown whose gem is the magnificent Capella. It is immediately over this gem that the star in question is found. Wherefore, by the equilateral triangle thus brought to notice the fullness of the Godhead dwelling within the First Person of the Holy Trinity is indicated in the heavens in harmony with the fullness of the Third Person as exemplified in the first, or as it may be termed, the Siraic Triangle. As, therefore Alcyone, or rather the unseen Pleiad, stands for the First Person of the Holy Trinity, and as Betelgeuse pertains to the Third Person, so the star in Auriga becomes representative of Messiah the Second Person of the Triune God, in whom, by the second equilateral triangle, or, as it may be called, the Alcyonic Triangle, also dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily in harmony with the record of Paul as given in Col. ii. 8,9.

By reference to the Review of the Holy Bible, pp. 134-139, interpretations will be found that Elisha the prophet is Messiah the Christ in his personality as the Seed of Jehoran king of Judah, and hence, by the Melchizedician Priesthood, the son of Jehoshaphat even as Jehoram is the son of Jehoshaphat. It will also be seen that the forty-two little children slain by the she-bears symbolize forty-two generations from David through Joseph the son of Heli, the husband of Mary the Virgin-mother, to and including Messiah in his personality as Jesus; and further, that the two bears, one shadows the epoch of the day of Messiah as Elisha the Son of man back to the day of David, and the other from the day of Elisha as the Son of man to the day of Jesus as the Seed of woman. These advancements the heavens also indicate and confirm; yet, manifestly, through the wisdom of the one God in His revelations to the ancients. As, therefore, the two bears represent two epochs, retrospective and prospective, counting from the day of Elisha, so, in harmony therewith, two notable constellations appear in the heavens called respectively Ursa Major and Ursa Minor, otherwise, the Great Bear and the Lesser Bear.

In taking up the hidden history of the Great Bear, Ursa Major, sometimes called the Great Dipper, it will be found that a line drawn through h, f, the lower rim of the bowel thereof, will, if produced, cut the star in Auriga that symbolized Messiah in the Alcyonic Triangle, thereby indicating a relationship between the constellations of the Great Bear and Auriga; and, hence, between the prophet Elisha and Messiah.

If, now, a line drawn through d, b, the two stars constituting the far side of the bowl of Ursa Minor, sometimes called the Little Dipper, it will, if produced, also cut the Messianic star in Auriga, thereby showing a relationship between Ursa Minor - the Little Dipper - and Auriga, or, as a second witness, between Elisha the prophet as the Son of man, and Messiah as the Son of God.

In the Great Dipper f, e, two stars called the Pointers, serve, in a general way, to locate the position of the North star - Polaris. But should a line through them be produced it will strike through Ursa Minor, and pierce a star of the lesser magnitude in Cepheus. This line not only shows a relationship between the two Bears, but it interlinks the history of the two, and, hence, that of Messiah as Elisha the Son of man with the star in Cepheus. Wherefore, let it be called the Messianic Star in Cepheus. And so, too, a line through b, a, the two stars constituting the upper brim of the bowel of the Little Dipper - Ursa Minor - will if produced also strike the Messianic Star in Cepheus, thereby further showing a relationship between it and the history of Messiah as Elisha the prophet (see, also, Deut. xviii. 18, 19).

“I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.”

“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.”

 It will be found that the Messianic star thus determined is one of a group constituting a crown similar in shape with that of Auriga. This crown, however, reaches unto Draco, thereby indicating the prize for which Messiah and the Dragon contend in the great Battle of Life. It will also be found that the vertex of the equilateral triangle established on a line connecting the two Messianic stars in Auriga and Cephens, will find place in Ursa Major, by which Messiah becomes identified with, if not identical with Elisha as the Son of man in this historic ray. Wherefore let it be called the Messianic Triangle.

In continuation it will be found that, by the genealogy according to St. Matt. i. 1-17, as already indicated, Messiah was called in Jehoram, and yet that he was a contemporary of Jehoshaphat King of Judah. Wherefore, the indication is clear that Messiah had passed away as the Seed of Jehoshaphat, he having been slain as the Son of man in his personality as Naboth the Jezreelite. Wherefore, in his re-appearance as the Seed of Jehoram he was manifest in the flesh as Elisha the son of Shaphat: that is as the son, but not the Seed of Jehoshaphat.

In his genealogy as the Seed of Jehoram, Elisha is the seventh generation from and including David; these generations, as already set forth, covering the space of time or years indicated by one of the shebears. But from David to Jesus the Christ inclusive there are twenty-eight generations in the genealogy of Messiah (see St. Matt. i. 1-17). Consequently, there appears, 28 - 7 = 21 generations as covering the space of time, or years, indicated by the second she-bear. The ratio between the two epochs thus involved will be 21 ÷ 7 = 3. This ratio, it must be kept in view, is in relation to the genealogy of Jesus the Christ as given by St. Matthew, - not the genealogy of the Virgin-mother, nor that of Joseph the son of Heli, but the genealogy of Messiah the Christ in his personalities as the Son of God, as the Son of man, and as the Seed of woman. In the genealogy of Joseph, however, as given in St. Luke iii., 23 - 31, there are forty-two generations from David to Jesus the Christ against the twenty-eight of Messiah. Wherefore, there appears, as 28:42::7:10.5, or to the generations of Joseph from David to Elisha. Consequently, 42 - 10.5 = 31.5 generations from Elisha to Christ. The ratio between these values, as a matter of course, not being independent, will be 31.5 ÷ 10.5 = 3, thus corresponding with that obtained from the genealogy of Messiah.

By the chronology of the Scriptures, however, as derived by the present writer, (Edward B. Latch) in the earlier stages of his work, David king of Judah was born in the year 2876 of the Pisonic Age; and Joash king of Israel, who, also, was a contemporary of the prophet Elisha, died in the year 3141 of the Pisonic Age. Wherefore, 3141 - 2876 = 265 years corresponding with the seven generations of Messiah from David to Elisha. But Messiah as Jesus the Christ was crucified in the year 3930 of this age, thereby coming into his kingdom. Consequently, 3930 - 3141 = 789 years corresponding with the twenty-one generations of Messiah from the day of his advent as Elisha the Son of man to his advent as Jesus the Seed of woman. Wherefore, the ratio between these two values will be 789 ÷ 265 = 2.97 thus corresponding almost exactly with that already obtained.

The relationship of the constellations Ursa Major and Ursa Minor, of the Messianic Star in Cepheus, and Elisha as the Son of man, to the two epochs from David to Jesus having been brought to notice, a further relationship is manifest through the areas of the bowels of the Great and Lesser Dippers - Ursa Major and Ursa Minor - when viewed as superficies in the heavens. It will be found that these areas are to each other as 28 is to 84. Consequently, the ratio between them is 84 ÷ 28 = 3, thus corresponding with the ratios already determined. Now, since these two constellations are connected with the history of the Messianic Star in Cepheus, so they, also, confirm the identity of Messiah with Elisha the prophet as the Son of man manifest in the days of Jehoshaphat and Jehoram, kings of Judah, and in those of Joash king of Israel.

Further, it has been determined by astronomy that e, f, the Pointers of Ursa Major - the Great Dipper - are apart. Wherefore, by using them as a scale, it will be found that the mean width or diameter of the bowel is 7.75º. Now, in harmony with what has gone before, since the area of this bowel when considered as superficies, by one historic ray represents the years from the day of Elisha the prophet unto the crucifixion of Messiah as Jesus, so, by another historic ray, the mean diameter as above determined may represent the same; while the 360º of the circle may be considered a cycle representing the years from the begetting of Messiah as the Son of God in the Euphratic age down to the crucifixion of Jesus, yet as male line of computation. Wherefore, there appears 360 ÷ 7.78 = 46.45; and 46.45 x 789 = 36,649 years from the begetting of Messiah as the Son of God in the Euphratic age unto his crucifixion as Jesus against the 10,588 + 10,919 + 11,224 + 3930 = 36,631 of the Mosaic System (see Pyramid). It also will be found that the mean depth of the bowel of the Little Dipper - Ursa Minor - is . Wherefore, since the area of this bowel, when viewed as a superficies, represents the years from the day of David king of Judah down to the day of Elisha, so the mean depth of this bowel, in distinction from the width or diameter of the greater bowel, may indicate the years from the begetting of Messiah as the Son of God in the Euphratic age down to his crucifixion as Jesus, female line of computation. Consequently, from what has gone before, 360 ÷ 3 = 120; and 120 x 265 = 31,800 years for the epoch called for against the 1965 + 6772 + 9552 + 9568 + 3930 = 31,789 years of the Mosaic System. There now follows, 31,800 + 3930 = 35,730 as the years of the Four Ages of Man from the beginning of the Euphratic age to the end of the Pisonic, female line of computation against the 35,717 of the Mosaic System. Also, 36.649 + 3930 = 40,579 years from the beginning of the Euphratic age to the end of the Pisonic, male line of computation, against the 40,561 of the Mosaic System.

From the foregoing, the ratio 3 between the several magnitudes brought to notice is well established. Should, therefore, this ratio be increased by the thousand-fold multiplication (see Duet. i. 10, 11) there will appear 3 x 1000 = 3000, thereby corresponding with the ratio between the Four Ages of Man and the Grand Epoch from the beginning of the Creation to the end of the Pisonic age, and thereby comprehending the inheritance promised Messiah in the day he was begotten as the Son of God, or, as expressed in Duet. xi. 24,

"Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your cast be;" the heavens, also, bearing witness to this effect.

It has been gathered that the mean diameter of the bowel of the Great Dipper measure 7.75º; while the mean depth thereof is 4.161º. Wherefore, there appears, 7.75º x 4.161º = 32.247 square degrees (sq.º) as an expression for the area thereof when considered as a superficies. But it has been determined that the ratio between the two Bears is 3. Consequently 32.247 ÷ 3 = 10.749 sq.º as the area of the Lesser Bear - Little Dipper. Wherefore, 32.427 ÷ 10.749 = 52.996 sq.º as the sum of the two.

It has been also gathered through the pertainings of Elisha that the areas of the two Dippers represent the Four Ages of Man. Wherefore, the sequence is indicated that the surface of the sphere corresponding with that of which the two Dippers is a part governing the ration between the Four Ages and the Grand Epoch, and, to be general, governs every sphere in relation to the 360º of its great circle; for 360º x 360º = 129,600 sqº as the area of a great square upon which a great unit of work is to be performed. (See, also, the method of the great geographical ray developed by Mr. Albert Ross Parson in his valuable work "New Light from the Great Pyramid.") Of this rectangle the surface of the sphere projected thereon will be 41,252.4 sqº; whereby the ratio between the two magnitudes will be 129,600 ÷ 41,252.4 = 3.1416, thereby closely approximating the ratios as already obtained; while, in harmony with what has gone before 129,600 ÷ 42.996 = 3000 as the ratio between the Four Ages and the Grand Epoch as sequentially implied.

By the Mosaic System, however, the ratio in relation to the female line of computation has been more especially identified with the Four Ages from the creation of the Euphratic race. Wherefore (see Pyramid), 35,730 - 1965 = 33,765; and 33,765 x 3000 = 101,295,000 as the years of the Grand Epoch from the beginning of the Creation to the end of the Pisonic age against the 101,256,000 of the Mosaic System. Also, 40,579 x 3000 = 121,737,000 as the years of the Grand Epoch from the beginning of the Creation against the 121,683,000 of the Mosaic System. It may be stated here, in conjunction with the chronology as thus given, that the height of Ursa Major represents the years of the first three creative days combined, in harmony with the symbolism of the Molten Sea of Soloman's Temple.

The identity of the star in Cepheus with Messiah as the Christ, and the relationships of the Great and Lesser Bears therewith, having thus been established, it will be found, upon inspecting the heavens, that the head of Draco - the Dragon - is in close proximity thereto, thus graphically indicating the bruising of the Serpent's head; while, in turn, the body of the Serpent - Draco - coils around Ursa Minor thus threatening its destruction, and also comes in contact with Ursa Major in illustration of the great war between Messiah and the Dragon. The depiction is perfect, while the Pole Star, as an all-seeing eye, calmly watches the conflict resting in the sureness of the force-ordained downfall of all that is hateful. Nor is this advancement without its heavenly witness otherwise; for a line drawn through g, h, the two stars of the Great Dipper opposite the Pointers, if produced, will strike Regulus the gem that graces the handle of the sickle in the Zodiacal sign Leo. The constellation Leo brings to notice Messiah as the "Lion of the tribe of Judah," not only as the Son of God in the Euphratic Age, but also, in his personality as Jesus the Christ in the Pisonic age; Jesus, after his resurrection, having ascended toward the heaven as was received by a cloud. To such a one the command was given (see Rev. xiv. 15, 16)

 "Thrust in thy sickle, and reap, for the time is come for thee to reap... and he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on earth; and earth was reaped."

May we know this is true? Turn again to the heavens and behold the same Regulus with his contemporaries Castor and Procyon guarding, as it were, the Praesepe - the Manger - the prototypical symbol of Jesus established ages before his coming as the Son of man, and as the Seed of woman.

Cancer, the Zodiacal sign in which the Manger is located Mosaically, represents that part of the Euphratic Age in which man of Adam's race was created, the constellation Leo Minor indicating a relationship identified with man of Adam's race; while Messiah was begotten as the Son of God in the beginning of this age. Now in harmony with what has gone before, a line drawn from Regulus to the Praesepe shows a relationship between the Second Person of the Holy Trinity - the Lion of the Tribe of Judah - and the Manger; Messiah as a man-child newly born in the Euphratic age having been caught up to the throne of God, and, as Jesus the Son of the Virgin-Mother, having been lain in a manger at the time he was brought forth in Judea. A line drawn from Procyon to the Praesepe shows a relationship between the Third Person of the Holy Trinity and the Manger, in harmony with the Siriac Triangle, and with the ministrations of the Melchizedician priesthood; while a line drawn from Castor to the Praesepe represents the relationship between the First Person and the Manger, in harmony with the mission of the First Person in the Creative Days.

These conditions are still further discernable by a comparison of the three angles thus formed with those of the Triskele Constellation as given in the Greater light, Vol. 1 No. 2, p. 22, in that they coincide with each other, thus becoming two witnesses for the conditions involved. In further support of these indications draw a line from Regulus to Spica in the Zodiacal sign Virgo, when it will be found that the vertex of the equilateral triangle constructed upon it will reach into the Constellation Argo. This triangle brings to notice an historic ray identified, in turn, with Messiah as the Second Person of the Trinity, with Argo, and the Man of Adam's race in the Euphratic Age in the Golden Age, the age of gold. Wherefore, the term golden pertains in an especial manner to this age (see, also, Review of the Holy Bible, pp. 335-337; Ind. of Exodus, pp. 344-349).

Now, in continuation, the vertex of the equilateral triangle constructed upon a line from Castor to Spica also fall to the constellation Argo. But Castor is located in the Zodiacal sign Gemini; while by one historic ray (see Melchizedician Chart) Gemini pertains to the Fourth Creative Day, or the day in which the sun of the physical world, was suspended as a source of life and light by Messiah as the Sun of Righteousness. It must be kept in view that the First Person of the Trinity was the special representative of the One God during the Creative Days. Therefore the great triangle just described places the First Person in the Creative Days, and the Third Person as in the constellation Argo.

Wherefore, to take up a so-called mythological bearing, when Jason sailed in the ship Argo to recover the Golden Fleece he would, by the configuration of the heavens, and in harmony with what has been set forth, encounter Hydra before reaching Colchis; and even then, before accomplishing his object, the help of Medea - Virgo - would be needed.  These conditions are fully borne out by the symbolism of the heavens, as manifested; for Michael as Jason, in the great aerial sea fought against the Dragon - Hydra - assistance being rendered by the Virgin Medea - through the Son of God brought forth as the man-child; the latter having been caught up to the throne of God the Great Defender. The Son of God is the good Shepherd; and the people of his pasture are his sheep. Wherefore, when the people of the Euphratic Age - the sheep of the good Shepherd's pasture, the Golden Fleece, dwelling in Colchis - fell from their high estate they became prisoners under the Law, and, hence, subjects of Death and the Dragon - Hydra and Draco, otherwise, Lucifer and Satan. But through the fulfillments of the Third Person of the Holy Trinity in his pertaining under the Law, this people, this Golden Fleece, was brought away, and today is rejoicing in the heavens through the assistance of the Virgin - mother - Virgo - in relation to the One to whom these people were promised, and who later, in the Pisonic Age, lay in a manger at Bethlehem of Judea, even as exemplified by the heavenly symbols.

It will be found that, by the plottings of the heavens, Monoceros - the Unicorn - is given place in the great triangle between Canis Major and Canis Minor; between Castor and Argo; they further indicating the pushing together of the ten thousands of Ephraim and the thousands of Manasseh, the aggregation of the Son's inheritance, by the horns of unicorns, by the might and spirit of the Three Persons of the Holy Trinity.

Now, upon a line drawn from Vega to Arcturus - the Arcturus of modern astronomy, not Sirius the Arcturus of Job - let an equilateral be constructed, the vertex of which will fall in the Zodiacal sign Sagittarius. Within this triangle there appears portions of the stellar magnitudes Hercules, Ophiuchus, Sagittarius, Serpens, and the Northern Crown. As, therefore, Messiah was begotten as the Son of God in the Euphratic Age - the North (see Indications of Genesis, p. 45 - and was proclaimed King (see Ps. ii, 6-9)), and as the Serpent thought to seize his crown by making war against the higher Powers - the Holy Trinity, see history of the Messianic Star in Cepheus - so the same is graphically manifested by the stellar magnitudes now brought to notice; for the Crown - the Northern Crown - seems almost to grace the Serpent's head, but Hercules, as an arm of the great Ophiuchus, stands ready to encircle the body of the upreared monster -  the enemy yet ally of Hydra - even as Samson did in connection with one of the pillars of the Philistinian Temple. And so, also, with Sagittarius the Bowman, who, in his mission of conquering and to conquer (see Rev. vi, 1, 2), finds place, as the right arm of Ophiuchus, ready to crush the Serpent as Samson did to the other pillar of the Philistines' temple. In Ophiuchus, therefore, behold the great field, in the midst of which stands one as Samson who, with outstretched arms dashes the ambitious hopes of the Evil-one, breaks his house (see constellation of the Serpent), and thus slays its thousands of adherents; while Scorpio and Libra are in contact with the conqueror thus indicating the bitterness of the war, and of the actions to be weighed and adjudged. It will be seen, also, that Draco - the Dragon - lies between Hercules and the Messianic Star in Cepheus, thereby corresponding, in the matter of like occurrence, with the smiting of Hydra by Hercules, with the history of Jason in his quest for the recovery of the Golden Fleece in the latter part of the Euphratic or Golden Age; Sagittarius, by one historic ray (see Melchizedician Chart) also pertaining to this epoch.

By another historic ray (see Messianic Chart) Sagittarius pertains to the second division in the Pisonic Age, in which Messiah made his advent as the Living Bread through which Hydra -  Death - and Satan were, eventually overthrown. By the Melchizedician Chart Messiah made his advent as Jesus the Seed of woman in the 17th minor epoch of the Grand Epoch as the month of August. By one ray of the Messianic Chart, however, the 17th minor epoch is represented by the Zodiacal sign Scorpio. In Scorpio, therefore, as the 17th minor epoch of the Grand Epoch Messiah met his enemies, encountered their scourgings, yet brought them law. Now, by counting back nine minor epochs Messiah made his advent as the Son of God in the constellation Leo; but, by another ray (see Messianic Chart), when considered as months, Jesus the Seed of woman becomes identified with Leo as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, in harmony with the required stand-points. The indications that Messiah was born of the Virgin-mother in the month of August are further set forth in the heavens; for on the nights of this month the Messianic Star in Auriga is seen to the eastward, low down on the horizon, while to the westward Scorpio gleams with its Antares as en evil watchful eye. Immediately above, as standing over where the "young child was" Vega appears, the Gem of Lyre upon which none but the angels can play, and which, from its position, indicates the theme of their song,

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."

From these advancements the 'child' that was caught up unto the throne of God is brought again from thence through the lantern of the incomparable dome that marks the glory of an August sky. Thus the Infantic Star in the east - seen of wise men whatever the transient astral exhibition may have been - and the Sinister Eye in the west - prophets of good and evil - portend the buffetings and experiences of the One begotten as Jesus in their midst; while in the south the unclean swan and the eagles are gathered together, with Altair and his coadjutors pointing to Vega the Alpha of Lyra, the effulgent star that shone down upon the manger in Bethlehem of Judea. Nor is the witness of the manger far away; for in Draco, the Point of Intersection is found whose angles correspond with those of the Praesepe as already set forth in this paper. It may be stated here that the cut of a Bracteate of gold as it appears in the Viking Age, Vol. II, p. 343,- Du Chaillu, by the Mosaic System, evidently places the star of the east - the Messianic star in Auriga - in the zenith, and the constellation of the Lyre in the west; for (see St. Matt. ii. 9) the star in the east "came and stood over where the young child was."

the Bracteate

Further inspection of this cut will show that within the figure of Lyre seventeen small circles are given place. These circles, by the Mosaic System, and in harmony with the Melchizedician Chart, indicate the seventeen minor epochs of the Grand Epoch, and, hence, to the seventeenth minor epoch in which Messiah was begotten as Jesus the Seed of woman. It does not follow, however, that the historic ray of the Bracteate, as thus developed, is identical with that of Vega, but that it is in close relationship thereto. It must be borne in mind that the term "west" is significant of the Pisonic Age. But, to return to the point of digression, in addition to the wonderful manifestations set forth, it appears, that, further, by the Messianic Chart, Virgo, Leo, Cancer and Gemini, pertain to the four divisions of the Euphratic Age; while, by the heavens, Hydra - Lucifer, Death - is in contact with these four zodiacal signs, thereby showing the ruling, yet not triumph of the Destroying Cherub in the Euphratic Age. Death, as a condition however, is likened to a two-edged sword, the two edges being significant of the decease of the natural body, and of the absolute death of spirit. These conditions are exemplified by the apportionment of Hydra to the Euphratic Age, in that, during the first two divisions, the fiat of absolute death was not in force; and in that through the entering in of the Law, absolute death did become the prevailing principle during the third and fourth divisions of this age.

In continuation, Taurus - the Bull - properly belongs to the Euphratic age, yet by its apportionment to the Hiddekelic the overlap of the two ages is indicated, and, also, the transmission of magnitudes from the former into the latter, (see Review of the Holy Bible, pp. 23, 23, also Indications of Genesis, pp 155-157). Now, by reference to the heavens, it will be found that Cetus - the whale - is in contact with Taurus, Aries, Pisces, and Aquarius. As, therefore, these Zodiacal signs are in relation to the Euphratic, Hiddekelic, and Gihonic Ages, and as Messiah in his personality as the Son of God was brought through these ages in accord with the fulness dwelling within the Third Person of the Holy Trinity, so, since these ages are represented in contact with the whale, the esoteric strength of the Lord's saying,

"As Jonas was three days and nights in the whale's belly, so shall the Son of man be three days and three in the heart of the Earth,"

 becomes manifest in  relation to the indwelling of Messiah during the first three ages of man, as a repetition of a like occurrence (see, also, Jonah ii. 1-10) even though the relation does take cognizance of the death of Jesus in the Pisonic Age.

By further scanning the map of the heavens it will be seen that the constellation Piscis Australis is in contact with Aquarius and Capricornus, whereby the hidden history of Messiah is brought into the Pisonic age, yet as overlapping the Gihonic. Wherefore, the sign of the Two Fishes - Cetus and Piscis Australis - really connect the Hiddekelic and Gihonic Ages from Taurus to Capricornus, or from the overlap of the Euphratic and Hiddekelic ages to the overlap of the Gihonic and Pisonic ages, or down the Deluge of Noah, the same being graphically manifested in the sign of Pisces. Wherefore, from the Gihonic and Hiddekelic ages as esoteric Egypt, and as exemplified through Cetus the whale, Messiah sprang into the Pisonic age as represented by the Amphibion, Capricornus, and by Piscis Australis, therein to fulfil his special mission for the saving of nations; in full harmony with the declaration "Out of Egypt have I called my son."

In Sagittarius, as already set forth, Messiah made his advent as the Living Bread manifestly for the regeneration of his people, and for the overthrow of his adversaries Lucifer and Satan - Hydra and Serpents - and, in Scorpio, met the scourgings which ended in the defeat and commendation; while in Libra, the constellation succeeding Scorpio, just weights and just measures, were, are, and will be, meted out to all hosts; for Libra, by the historic ray under consideration represents the Judgmental Era, and pertains to the present or existing time.

To briefly sum up the forgoing, Sirius, according to the symbolism of the Second Temple, represents the Third Person of the Holy Trinity; Alcyone, or, perhaps, the unseen Pleiad, represents the First Person; and Sol, the sun of our solar system, represents the Second Person of the Trinity. Wherefore, the great equilateral triangle formed by connecting Sirius, Betelgeuse, and Procyon, pertains, in an especial manner, to the Third Person of the Trinity. The equilateral triangle formed by connecting Pleiades, Betelgeuse, and a star of the fourth magnitude in Auriga, pertains to the First Person of the Holy Trinity. And the equilateral formed by connecting the star in Auriga with a star of lesser magnitude in Cepheus, and with Ursa Major, pertains to the Second Person of the Trinity. These triangles have been called Siraic, Alcyonic, and Messianic, respectively; and it will be found they are conjoined as in sequential order. But for that the unfoldment is made it will be perceived that the Alcyonic might be the first step of the sequence; that the Siriac is the second; and that the Messianic is the third step; but the symbolism of the Triskele Constellation favors the order as given.

The Messianic Triangle, however, as already set forth, is conjoined to the constellation of the Great Bear - Ursa Major. Wherefore, by this contiguity Ursa Major takes up, and indicates in sequential order, history of Messiah by right lines radiating, as it were, from it. This history is further indicated by its area, and by the degrees of space it occupies. Of the indices thus brought to notice one points to the Messianic Star in Cepheus; one points to Alcyonic star in Auriga; and one points to Regulus as a great Messianic sun in Leo; while the areas, and degrees, thereof, by relationship, show that Messiah and Elisha the prophet are identical, that the genealogy of Messiah as given by St. Matthew is correct, and distinct from that of the Virgin-mother, and from that of Joseph the son of Heli; further, also, that from it the longevity of the Four Ages of Man can be determined, and through the Four Ages, by ratio,, the age of the world. In the matter of constellations, otherwise, the symbolism of Ursa Major, Canis Major, Canis Minor, Draco, Hydra, Hercules, Monoceros, Argo, Opinchus, Serpens, the Northern Crown, is indicated in sequential harmony with the Scriptures; while the signs of the Zodiac add their quota to the themes that prove the direct handiwork of the Most High, and the inspirational Source of the Bible in the sky, the oldest, with little or no question, that has been accorded the intellectual world.

Now, it has been stated that the Messianic Triangle was developed third in order beginning with Siraic and continuing through the Alcyonic. It will be observed (see Diagram 1) that the Messianic Triangle contains the Messianic (Alcyonic) Star in Auriga, and that in Cepheus; also the Constellations Draco and the Great and Lesser Bears, through the history of which Messiah as the Son of God, as the Son of man, and as the Seed of woman, together with that of the Adversary has been brought to notice in this paper. Messiah's history is the history of the world, and is the foundation of all the divinely inspired manuscripts and works of art that constitutes the holy bibles of all peoples, whether angels or men. The great Bible in the sky as manifested by the Messianic Triangle has its counterpart or transformation in the great Pyramid of Egypt; the general chronology and ethnology of which was published by the present writer some time ago (see Pyramid). But now, through the co-relationship existing between the constellations and the Pyramid, the astronomical features thereof are brought to notice, and, with them, the origin and object of the pyramid systems of the world.

Wherefore, from this point of view, let the Messianic Triangle in the sky (equilateral) represent a pyramid (see Diagram 1), and, as such, be used as an exemplar or prototype for determining the origin and meaning of the one specially brought to notice, viz., that of Cheops, otherwise the great Pyramid of Egypt. From this point of departure it will be observed (see Diagram 1) that a line drawn through f, e of Ursa Major - the Big Dipper - as produced, strikes the Messianic star in Cepheus, making an angle of 25º with the base of the Triangle, thus harmonizing with the 26º, 18' of the passageway to the King's Chamber as constructed in the Great Pyramid of Cheops (see Diagram 2), indicating thereby a relationship between the bowl of the Big Dipper and the King's Chamber. But the descending passageway through which entrance into the Pyramid is attained is 26º, 41' (see Diagram 2). Let the descending passageway be drawn in and shown in the Messianic Triangle as a tangible base for comparison between the two great correlatives.

Now, by reference to Diagram 1, it will be found, also, that a line drawn through a, c of the Little Dipper - Ursa Minor - if produced, will strike Vega - Alpha Lyra - a star of first magnitude. This line makes an angle of 88º with the base of the Messianic Triangle. As, therefore, the descending passageway in the Great Pyramid is 26º, 41', and as it is a base for the comparison of magnitudes pertaining to the two great co-relatives, so 88º+26º, 41' = 114º, 41' as the angle through which Vega must pass or through which it may have passed, that it be visible from the descending passageway. But, by the precession of the Equinoxes, 50" corresponds with the deviation of the sun from some given point in one year. Consequently, there appears, 114º, 31' x 60 x 60 = 412860; and 412860 ÷ 50 = 8257 as the years occupied by Vega in traveling through the above angle. Now, by the Indications of Genesis, pp. 113, 114, the Great Pyramid was built in the overlap of the Hiddekelic and Gihonic Ages - esoteric Egypt - or prior to the year B.C. 12098. The Pisonic race, however, was created in the year B.C. 3897. Wherefore, there follows, 12098 - 3897 = 8201 as the years from the overlap of the Gihonic and Pisonic ages to the overlap of the Gihonic and Hiddekelic, thereby corresponding with the 8257 called for above, and which harmonizes with the Mosaic date in which the Pyramid was built; and, further, that Alpha Lyra - Vega - was in the Pyramid co-ordination at or about the year B.C. 12098.

In connection with Vega there also appears, 360º - 114º41' = 245º19'; and 245º19' x 60 x 60 = 883140"; while 883140 ÷ 50 = 17,662 years, thus corresponding with the 7860 + 9568 = 17,429 years of the Pisonic and Gihonic ages combined, or time from the end of the Pisonic age instead of the beginning thereof to the end of the Hiddekelic, and, consequently, as a second witness, with the year B.C. 12098 in its relationship with the Vega co-ordination as already set forth.

By further reference to Diagram 1 it will be seen that the line through h, f of the Great Dipper, when produced, strikes the Messianic star in Auriga, and that the line g, e, strikes the magnificent Capella, also in Auriga. Now, by comparison, it will be found that these lines diverge at the same angle as the descending passageway into the Pyramid diverges from the north air channel from the King's Chamber. It will be found, further (Diagram 1) that the angle intercepted by the lines of Vega and Capella measures 140º, and, hence, that Capella is that many degrees beyond Vega. Wherefore, by revolving the line of Capella until it shall coincide with the passageway of descent into the  Pyramid, the line of the Messianic star in Auriga will coincide with the north air channel from the King's Chamber. From these indications, therefore, Capella will be visible from the descending passageway, and the Messianic star will be visible from the King's Chamber northward through the air channel; thus giving two witnesses in support of a second co-ordination. Wherefore, by proceeding as before there appears, 140º x 60 x 60 = 504,000", and 504,000 ÷ 50 = 10,080 years as the lapse of time between the pyramid co-ordination of Vega and that of Capella. Vega, however, was in the co-ordination about the year B.C. 12098. Consequently 10080 + 12098 = 22178 as the year B.C. in which Capella was in the co-ordination; that is, in the overlap of the Euphratic and Hiddekelic ages.

There further appears, 360° - 140° = 220°; and 220° x 60 + 60 = 792,000; while 792000 ÷ 50 = 15840 years. Wherefore, in harmony with the corresponding computation for Vega, 15840 + 12098 = 27,938 years, thereby harmonizing with the 7860 + 9568 + 9552 = 26,980 years of the Mosaic System from the end of the Pisonic Age back to the end of the Euphratic. From these advancements there still further appears, 27,938 – 3963 = 23,975 as the year B.C. in its relationship to the overlap of the Euphratic and Hiddekelic ages as against the 23,017 of the Mosaic System, and, hence, as by a second witness that Capella really was in the Pyramid co-ordination in the overlap of the last two mentioned ages; that is, had the Great Pyramid been built at that time. Since, however, the Hiddekelic race built the Pyramid in the overlap of the Hiddekelic and Gihonic ages, and since they also lived in the overlap of the Euphratics, so, as an historical episode identified with their own time and race, they were justified in incorporating the Capella co-ordination in their great monument in the midst of esoteric Egypt.

Now by comparing the angle formed by the lines e, f and g, h of the Great Dipper with that formed by the intersection of the ascending passageway to the King’s Chamber and the south air channel from the King’s Chamber (see Diagrams 1, 2) they will be found to coincide, each measuring about 20°, and, consequently, that the south air channel is in co-relationship with Regulus, the Alpha of the constellation Leo. But Regulus is 83° beyond Capella. Wherefore, there follows, 83° + 60 x 60 = 29880; and 29880 ÷ 50 = 5976 years beyond the Pyramid cp-ordination of Capella. Consequently, 5976 + 23975 = 29,951 years B.C., thus corresponding with the year B.C. 29789 in which, by the Mosaic System, the Euphratic race was created. By Diagram 2, however, the angle Regulus – the south air channel – makes with the descending passageway in its relation to the Capella co-ordination is 107°. Wherefore, 107° x 60 x 60 = 385200”; and 385200” ÷ 50 = 7704 years. Consequently, taking the lesser figure obtained for the Capella co-ordination, there appears 7704 + 22178 = 29892 years corresponding with the date of the creation of the Euphratic race in harmony with the Messianic Triangle and the Mosaic System. From these advancements Regulus would, seemingly, be visible through the south air channel in the Euphratic Age, but when the angle of 20° is considered there appears, 20° x 60 x 60 + 72000”; and 72000” ÷ 50 = 1440 years. These years correspond with the 1324 Pyramid years of the overlap of the Hiddekelic and Gihonic Ages, and with the 1367 of the Mosaic System. Wherefore, the indications are the Regulus does appear in the Capella co-ordination, but was visible from the King’s Chamber through the south air channel at the time Vega was visible in the north from the descending passageway leading into the Pyramid. Hence, the Vega co-ordination is supported by a second witness even as Capella in its co-ordination was supported by the Messianic star in Auriga.

Also, by reference to Diagram 2, it will be found that the line of the south air channel, if produced, will strike into the Queens’s Chamber situated in the overlap of the Hiddekelic and Gihonic Ages as representative of the sepulchre of the Euphratic race through the transmission of their blood and characteristics (see Diagram 2); and that the angle formed by the intersection of the south air channel and the vertical passing through the Queen’s Chamber measures 138°. Wherefore, 138° + 60 x 60 = 496800”; while 496800 ÷ 50 = 9736 years, thereby connecting the overlap of the Hiddekelic and Gihonic Ages with the overlap of the Euphratic and Hiddekelic, against the 9552 of the Mosaic System, and, hence, in harmony with the advancement that the Queen’s Chamber represents the sepulchre of the Euphratic race.

Moreover, by comparison with Diagrams 1, 2, it will be found that the position of Polaris corresponds, in one historic ray, with one of the upper corners of the great gallery leading into the King’s Chamber; the eight assizes of stone therein symbolizing the first eight minor epochs of the Grand Epoch, or the eight minor epochs prior to the creation of the Euphratic race. From this point of view the distance of Polaris to the base of Ursa Minor corresponds with the distance from the corner of the great gallery down through the passage of abrupt descent until it joins the descending slope that leads to the Subterrean Chamber, or, esoterically, from the beginning of the Creation unto the end of the Pisonic Age as a witness independent of the one through the King’s Chamber. The curve of the passage of abrupt descent is derived from the curve of the Little Dipper – Ursa Minor – being in relationship with the Creative Days as well as with the Four Ages of Man. It will be found that the horizontal distance from Polaris to the midst of Ursa Minor corresponds with the horizontal distance from the corner of the great gallery to the midst of the Queen’s Chamber that represent the sepulchre of the Euphratic race. All these indications still further substantiate the date of the building of the Great Pyramid.

Further, by reference to the Messianic Triangle, Diagram 1, it will be seen that Ursa Minor – the Little Dipper – corresponds with the subterranean chamber of the Great Pyramid, Diagram 2, and, also, with the Queen’s Chamber because of the corresponding angles made by the intersection of the general base line of the Pyramid, and of the Euphratic passageway, with the King’s Chamber. The King’s Chamber is represented in Diagram 1 by Ursa Major. But (see Pyramid) the Subterranean Chamber, also, shadows the sepulchre of the whole Four Ages of Man, and, hence, includes that of the Euphratic race. By the Mosaic System, however, the Euphratic race was destroyed by earthquake and volcanic eruption. As, therefore, by one historic ray, the apex of the Great Pyramid is in relation to this catastrophe, so the irregular condition of the apex symbolizes the same; while, with little doubt, the massiveness of the great structure was, in a measure, introduced to safeguard it against future convulsions of the kind.

As further comparison of Diagrams 1, 2 with show that the south side of the Great Pyramid in in line with the Messianic star in Auriga, even as the slant side of the Messianic Triangle is in line with the same. But the angles of the Pyramid are obtained from the triangle as follows:

Plot the magnificent Capella in its required position (see Diagram 1). Now, with the distance from Capella to the Messianic star increase the base of the Messianic Triangle both northward and southward. Join the new base line with the Messianic star when the angles thus formed will coincide with the angles of the Pyramid. But, by simply measuring Diagrams 1, 2, the height of the Triangle is 4 inches; the height of the Pyramid proper is 3.25 inches; while the base of the Triangle as enlarged is 6.375 inches. Wherefore, by proportion, as 4:3.25::6.375:5.179, which is, as inches, correspond with the base of the Pyramid proper, that is, within the casing, thereby confirming the origin of the shape of the Pyramid. Moreover, by producing the descending passageway of the Triangle through the exterior of the Great Pyramid as thus determined (see Diagram 1), it will be found, by using the scale of Diagram 2, that the distance from the Lesser Bear in its relationship to the subterranean Sepulchre measures 330 feet as against the 347 of the Great Pyramid. It must be kept in view that Capella and this Messianic star are in the same co-ordination, thereby interlinking their history in this ray of light.

The Capella and Vega co-ordination pertain more especially to the Euphratic, Hiddekelic, and Gihonic ages as under the special dispensation of the Law, they being governed in the Euphratic Age by the Messianic star in Auriga; possibly the esoteric Apollos of St. Paul. In the Pisonic Age, however, a new departure is inaugurated according to which righteousness, and hence life, is attained only through Messiah in his sublime personality as the Word of the One God. Wherefore, the Word of the One God in relation to the Pisonic Age is specially manifested in the Messianic Triangle by the Messianic star in the constellation Cepheus; possibly the esoteric Cephas of St. Paul.

As already set forth, the line b a, of the Lesser Bear, produced, strikes the Messianic star in Cepheus; and the line d b of the Lesser Bear, produced, strikes the Messianic star in Auriga. Wherefore, it will be found that these two lines intersect nearly at right angles, thereby indicating the establishment of the dispensation through the Word of the One God in the beginning of the Pisonic Age (see Gen. iii. 1-16), yet as conjoined to the ruling of the Law or First Covenant – note the true right angle connecting apex with base – that entered in the Euphratic Age.

Indeed the heavens are not without their witness to this effect; the Law having been made to a thousand generations. Wherefore, (see Diagram 1) it will be found that the angle formed by connecting Capella and the Messianic star in Auriga with Polaris measures a trifle less than 14°. Consequently, proceeding as before, there appears, 14 x 60 x 60 = 50400; and 50400 ÷ 50 = 1008 years, which, as generations, correspond with the 1000 during which the First Covenant or Law continues in force for the government of all hosts, even including Messiah in his manifestation as the Word of the One God. It will be found, however, that the angle of 14° thus brought to notice corresponds with that plotted on the astronomical chart (see Elements of Astronomy, - Selim H. Peabody, M.A.), but when sighted through a jointed vector it will measure only 9 degrees. And so, also, the angle from Polaris subtending Ursa Major when sighted through the jointed vector will measure 27°, but as it appears upon the chart it measures 42°. Consequently, there arises, as 9:14::27:42, and, hence, 9:14:i:1.55+ or to the ratio between the two points of view. This distinction must be carefully noted in these papers.

In harmony with proceeding computations there now appears (see Diagram 1), 180° + 90° = 270° from the Messianic star in Auriga to the Messianic star in Cepheus. Wherefore, 270 x 60 x 60 = 972000; and 972000 ÷ 50 = 19440 years, thereby corresponding with the 9552 + 9568 = 19,120 Mosaic years from the end of the Euphratic Age to the beginning of the Pisonic, or to the advent of Messiah as the Desire (see Gen. iii. 1-16). But Messiah, in harmony with the esoteric meaning of the above reference to Genesis, made his advent as the Son of man in the day of Abraham the patriarch. Abraham was born about the year 1965 of the Pisonic Age. As, therefore, the passageway leading into the Pyramid descends at an angle of 26°.41’ so there appears 26°41’ x 60 x 60 = 96060”; and 96060 ÷ 50 = 1921 years, thus approximating the 1965 of the Mosaic System as indicated above. Now, however, by concentrating the Messianic rays there appears (1) the intersection of the line from Regulus in the constellation Leo through h, g, of the Great Dipper with the line from the Messianic star in Auriga through b, d, of the Little Dipper: whereby the pyramid co-ordination of Vega and Capella are brought to notice in connection with this historic ray. (2) the angle of , 30’ formed by drawing a line from the Point of Intersection through the Messianic star in Cepheus until it meets o, a star in the forefoot of the chair – throne – of Mazzaroth (Cassiopeia), and another from the same point until it meets p’ in the seat of the throne. It may be well to observe here, that, as viewed in the heavens, a right line passing through the diagonal o, m, of Cassiopeia (Mazzaroth) strikes Capella; and that a right line drawn through the diagonal l, p, of Cassiopeia passes through the second star in the handle of the Little Dipper and strikes I, the second star in the handle of the Great Dipper.

When, however, these diagonals are thus plotted the resulting figure described about them is an elongated parallelogram, whereas it should more nearly approximate a square. It will be found, however by taking the forefoot, o, of the Chair as a constant; that is, as a fixed point determined by the intersection of lines from the Point of Intersection through the Messianic star in Cepheus, and from Capella through the diagonal o, m, that the diagonal l, p, constructed in line with s, the Messianic star in Cepheus, will, by cutting the diagonal from Capella, produce a figure corresponding with that as simply viewed in the sky (see Diagram 1). Owing to the great distance of Cassiopeia (Mazzaroth) from the earth it probably is impossible to detect any foreshortening of its plane. Wherefore, from the dissimilar conditions thus brought to notice, the indication arises that the constellation under immediate consideration lies beyond the Galaxy, and that the perturbation witnessed is due to the refraction of the rays of light from the former to the latter. It may also be noted that the apparent displacement of the two views is about 23°, thereby memorializing or bringing to notice the catastrophe of the 4th Creative Day, and, consequently, the sun’s apparent path from the equator to either tropic. Since, however, in the Capella co-ordination the line through h, f, of the Great Dipper to the Messianic star in Auriga makes an angle of 4°, 30’ with the line g, e, of the Great Dipper to Capella (see, also, the 4°, 35’ variation between the orientation of the Great Pyramid of Cheops, and the Great Pyramid of Saccara, - Kenrick), and as they are visible in the co-ordination from the descending passageway, and from the north air channel, so like conditions will appear in a pyramid co-ordination of the Messianic star in Cepheus and the star p’ in the throne of Cassiopeia (Mazzaroth); the heavens being viewed as upon a photographic plane. When, however, the Messianic star shall be visible through the north air channel of the king’s chamber it will have passed through 26° 41’ + 4° 30’ = 31 11’. Consequently, 31° 11’ x 60 x 60 = 112,260”; and 112260 ÷ 50 = 2241 years; thus corresponding with the Mosaic year B.C. 2241; at which time the Deluge of Noah became as accomplished fact, and at which time Messiah made his advent as the Living Bread for the replenishment of the world. The date B.C. 2241, therefore, also carries with it the year in which Messiah made his advent as Jesus the Seed of Woman.

By one historic ray Mazzaroth (Cassiopeia) is identified with the catastrophe of the 4th creative day. This event lead to the supersedure of the sun of the physical world by Messiah as the Sun of Righteousness. Consequently, this link in the life of Christ also becomes identified with the Messianic Triangle, and, hence, with the Great Pyramid. Moreover, in harmony with the concentration of Messianic rays thus brought to notice, at an angle of 90° laid out on the line from the Point of Intersection as established in the foregoing (see Diagram 1) connecting Mazzaroth (Cassiopeia) and the Messianic star in Cepheus will represent the field of the First Person of the Holy Trinity (see Gr. Light, Vol. 1, No. 2); the angle 157° between the right angle and the line connecting the Point of Intersection with Regulus in Leo will represent the field of the Second Person; and the 113° that remain will represent the field of the Third Person of the Holy Trinity, as subtended from the Point of Intersection, between the lines to Regulus and to the Messianic star in Cepheus. These angles are in harmony with those of the Praesepe already given, and with the Triskele Constellation. In connection with the Point of Intersection as thus brought to notice it is a remarkable coincidence, if nothing more, that the constellation in which it appears adjoins Hercules, the stellar magnitude towards which the solar system is said to be moving.

In further relation to Mazzaroth (Cassiopeia) it will be found that the four stars l, m, o, p, constituting the throne proper is similar in shape to the bowels of the Great and Lesser Dipper – Ursa Major and Ursa Minor – and, therefore, as with the two Dippers, finds it counterpart in one of the three chambers established in the Great Pyramid. Wherefore, in support of this advancement, the angle as formed by joining the King, Queen and Subterranean, chambers measures 145°; while, in harmony therewith, the angle formed in the heavens by joining g, b, of the two Bears with o of Mazzaroth (Cassiopeia) also measures 145°. Further, as the distance of the Subterranean chamber from the Queen’s chamber is twice that of the Queen’s from the King’s, so the distance from o in Mazzaroth (Cassiopeia) to b the Lesser Bear is twice the distance from b of the Lesser to g of the Great Bear.

Thus, by these witnesses the origin of the three chambers as they appear in the Pyramid of Cheops is further substantiated. Moreover, should the line joining the King’s and Queen’s chambers be produced the distance from this line to the extreme south end of the subterranean passageway will measure 195 feet thus corresponding with the 195 feet (Vyse and Perring) the King’s chamber is said to be placed beyond the centre of the Pyramid; this same measurement also appearing in the Cassiopeian combination as a further witness of the heavenly exemplar.

It has been shown in the Pyramid Pamphlet, pp 20-22, that the several chambers of the Great Pyramid symbolize the graveyards and, hence, years of the Four Ages of Man, both severally and combined. As, therefore, the Pyramid was derived from its great prototype in the sky, so, in harmony therewith, the cube of the diagonal l, p, of Mazzaroth (Cassiopeia) will represent the years of the Hiddekelic age, and also, the years of the Gihonic, the two being esoterically conjoined, each of which measures 17 feet by 17 feet. The cube of the diagonal a, d of the Lesser Bear, in harmony with what has gone before, represents the years of the Euphratic age; and the cube of the diagonal e, h of the Great Bear represents the years of the Four ages combined. The diagonal of Mazzaroth (Cassiopeia) is 5.6°; the diagonal of the Lesser Bear is ; and the diagonal of the Great Bear is 8.5°. Wherefore, 5.63 = 175.6; 53 = 125; and 8.53 = 614.12. But the years of the Pisonic Age are included in the total represented by the Great Bear. Since, however, the years of the Four Ages combined are 33752, Mosaic System, and the years of the Pisonic are 7860, so there follows by proportion, as 33752:7860::614.12:143 or to the symbolic value of the Pisonic Age, in terms corresponding with the others. From these computations there now follows: 175.6 + 175.6 + 125 + 143 = 619.2. As the symbolic value of the Four Ages as against the 614.12 derived from the diagonal of the Great Bear.

From the positions thus set forth the subterranean chamber finds its special exemplar in the Great Dipper; the Queen’s chamber finds its exemplar in the Little Dipper; and the King’s chamber finds its exemplar in the chair or throne of Mazzaroth (Cassiopeia) whatever the relationship between the two Dippers and the King’s and Queen’s chambers may otherwise be; a multiplication of historic rays pertaining to any one set of symbols being necessary owing to the great extent and variety of that which is to be set forth, but every historic ray must follow its own rigid law of sequence as independent of, yet harmonious with, all other rays.

Now, since the Messianic star in Auriga was in the co-ordination in the overlap of the Euphratic and Hiddekelic ages as seen through the north air channel, it follows that when viewed in line with the slant side of the Pyramid it cannot be thus seen in the overlap brought to notice. Moreover, the two lines of observation diverge, thereby still further removing the standpoint of this historic ray; and, in addition, it must be considered that the Pyramid, seemingly, is stationery while the stars of heaven revolve; which is a convenient method of comparison. Consequently, the line of vision thus brought to notice is in relation to history connected with, but not, of necessity, directly identified with the immediate date of any particular co-ordination.

From the stand-point that the Capella co-ordination occurred in or about the time of the creation of the Hiddekelic race, viz., the Mosaic year B.C. 23,017, and that the precession of the Equinoxes covers 25,827 years, then the next co-ordination of Capella will take place in the year A.D. 2810; that is, 25,827 – 23,017 = 2810; which year corresponds with the year A.D. 2853 of the Mosaic Chronology, at or about which time the creature world is freed from their oppressors; the Pyramid having been erected as a great altar of witness because of the oppressors. Moreover, the Lord said in Isa. Xix. 19-20:

“In that day shall there be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the Lord.

“And it shall be for a sign and a witness unto the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the Lord because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them”

The great one thus indicated, both by the Mosaic and Pyramid chronology, is Messiah who comes at or about this time to deliver the remnant of his people, and to reign with them upon earth – greater earth – for a thousand years; his star being visible at the time through the air channel leading from the King’s Chamber. But Messiah’s star, in its relationship to the slant side of the Pyramid, reverts, by its angle of , to events preceding this advent of Messiah by over six hundred years (see Diagram 1); for 9 x 60 x 60 = 32400; and 32400 ÷ 50 = 648, which, as years, correspond with the era following the fullness of transgression, in which the oppressors are judged, as against the 2820 – 2133 = 687 of the Mosaic System (see Pyramid Pamphlet, p. 6).

The indication has been advanced that, by one historic ray, the height of Ursa Major represented the years of the first three creative days combined, and the height of Ursa Minor represented the years of the last three creative days combined. Wherefore, in harmony therewith (see Diagram 1), the distance e, g of Ursa Major symbolizes the years of the first creative day; and the distance f, g, symbolizes the years of the second creative day; and the distance represented by the ordinate normal to the line g, k, symbolizes the years of the third creative day. And so, also, the ordinates normal to the line i, b, of Ursa Minor symbolizes the 4th, 5th, and 6th creative days respectively, counting from i. As, therefore, in Ursa Major these distances are as 30, 30, and 8, respectively; so they are proportional to the 30,640,000; 29,308,000; and 7,993,000 years of the first three creative days, Mosaic System. And so, also, in Ursa Minor the distances are as the 9,325,000; 13,322,000; and 10,629,000 years of the last three creative days, Mosaic System.

Thus from its great prototype in the sky - the Bible of the angels, the Bible absolutely written by the finger of God - the Great Pyramid of Egypt is constructed, and, hence, the history of Messiah and the world as manifest in its prototype is also identified with its wonderful transformation into the Bible of men. Nor have the builders of the Pyramid left these histories without a symbol or witness to this effect; for as the Messianic Triangle, which represents the presence and work of Messiah, stands directly before the Great Pyramid in its relation to the worlds as given in Diagram 1, so the builders of the Great Pyramid of Egypt placed in front of their structure a great sphinx with the head of a man and the body of a lion, which, now, clearly represents Messiah the Lion of the tribe of Judah; and which is in clear harmony with the words of Jacob the patriarch:

"Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise; thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; they father's children shall bow down before thee.

"Judah is a lion's whelp; from the prey, my son, thou art gone up; he stopped down, he crouched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?...

"And unto him shall the gathering of the people be."

Hence, the establishment and solution of the Messianic Triangle, as set forth in the forgoing, establishes the origin of the Great Pyramid, and solves the riddle which, for ages, has enshrouded the Egyptian Sphinx; the latter being an earthy prototype conjoined to the Great Pyramid as a witness from God to man of the fixedness of his purpose for the eternal casting down of oppression.

Wherefore, in support of these advancements Messiah was crowned king in the day he was begotten as the Son of God in the beginning of the Euphratic Age, and, by his pertaining to the Euphratic Age, he became the Lion of the Tribe of Judah the Lion’s Whelp called for in Jacob’s blessing of Judah (see Messianic chart in Mosaic System and Macrocosmic Cross). By this kingly crown, (see frontispiece) the great Sphinx with the head of a man, and the body of a lion, will also be representative of Messiah, in harmony with the language of the Sacred Writings. Now, according to Egyptologists, the body of the Sphinx is about 140 feet in length, the paws extending 50 feet beyond the body, thus making the total space – length – occupied about 190 feet. The height is from 62 to 70 feet according to the authorities. Wherefore, by reference to Cepheus (see Diagram 1), it will be found that the band v, w, of the crown in which the Messianic star appears, measures about 135 feet, thereby harmonizing with the 140 feet length of the body of the Sphinx. The height n, t, of the crown measure 70 feet, thus corresponding with the 62 – 70 feet height of the Sphinx; while s, u, the total length of the crown measures about 180 feet, thus corresponding with the 190 of the Sphinx as couchant. Since, therefore, the King’s crown fits the Sphinx, so the identicalness of Messiah and the Sphinx becomes well marked in this historic ray. Moreover, it will be perceived that s, the Messianic star in Cepheus is a gem common to the crown and to the Messianic Triangle, whereby the identicalness of the two magnitudes is still further manifested.

It has been stated that the Messianic star in Auriga was one of a group constituting a crown similar to that in Cepheus. Wherefore, by making this constellation to correspond with scale as used in Cepheus, it will be found that the band thereof measures about 135 feet, thus corresponding with the band in Cepheus, and harmonizing with the 140 feet length of the body of the Sphinx. The total length of the crown in Auriga measures about 185 feet; thereby harmonizing with the 180 feet length of the crown in Cepheus, and 140 + 50 = 190 feet, total length of the Sphinx. But the height of the crown in Auriga measures about 110 feet; thereby corresponding with the 62 + 50 = 112 feet height of the Sphinx as, in his majesty, he stood upon his feet in the day of his coronation.

Moreover, it will be found that the Messianic star in Auriga, as with the Messianic star in Cepheus, is a gem common to the Aurigian crown and the Messianic Triangle. Thus two sublime witnesses are brought forward to give evidence of the identicalness of Messiah with the Sphinx. As couchant, however, the paw of the Sphinx as in the crown of Cepheus, is directly over the head of Draco – the Dragon – whereby the bruising of the Serpent’s head is clearly indicated in harmony with these advancements made in the earlier portion of this paper; but, as he stands erect, the length of the Sphinx as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah becomes a unit of measure, or a key, for indicating other history of Messiah. Among these historic rays the Lion couchant is sublimely indicated by the 190 feet between the right angle pertaining to the First Person of the Holy Trinity in the Point of Intersection and the eye in the head of the Dragon. Sketch the Monarch and his foe in their respective places and the tableau is complete, - then, one spring, one fierce cry as when a lion roareth (see Rev. x. 3, also configuration of right hand side of head-dress, Diagram 3) and the battle is upon them. But “he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey and drink of the blood of the slain,” Num. xxiii. 24. Man, in this battle, is as a centaur who tramples the Dragon under his horse-hoofs; but Messiah, like unto St. George is armed with a great spear – Death – with which to smite his great enemy, the Dragon.

The 190 feet of the chord i, b, in Ursa Minor further indicates the Sphinx as Messiah, and as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, identifying them, through the history of Ursa Minor, with Elisha the prophet as the Son of man as previously set forth. Messiah, however, is the Redeemer as well as the Battle-ax. Wherefore, in the semblance of the great Sphinx, he can stand upon the ledge, as it were, that marks the base line of the Pyramid in its reach beyond the mystic Triangle which thus becomes symbolic of a fifth of his own Pyramid, added as earnest of redemption, (see Diagram 1).

But, (see Diagram 3) Messiah as the Sphinx dwells within the Messianic Triangle, filling the space thereof as none other can fill it. It may be well to add that the photograph (see Sphinx page) of the Sphinx upon which the Messianic Triangle is drawn was brought from Egypt by the present writer (Edward B. Latch; EBL) thirty years ago, (as of 1860), and, strange as it may seem, its size corresponds exactly with the dimensions of the Triangle as developed by the present writer (EBL) from the sky in conformity with the (Circumpolar Map of Elements of Astronomy, - Peabody), and in conformity with the Pyramid, as it appears in the Pyramid Pamphlet, and as reproduced in this paper (see Diagram 2). The correspondence of these magnitudes, in their exactitude, having been reached wholly independent of each other, becomes really and truly startling from a metaphysical point of view, - But, to continue, inspection of Diagram 3 will show that the space occupied by the head of the Sphinx corresponds, in general shape, with the crown in Cepheus, and the crown in Auriga. As, therefore, the relationship between these crowns and the Sphinx have been set forth, so, now, in harmony therewith, it will be found, by using the scale of Diagram 2, that as the height of the standing Sphinx in Auriga is to the extreme length thereof, so is the height of the head thereof in Diagram 3 to the base line of the Messianic Triangle, or to the legitimate angle of the headdress as recovered. Since, however, the top of the head of the Sphinx has been left unfinished, or else has wasted away by exposure to the elements, so the height thereof is unknown. Wherefore, from the forgoing, there appears:

The value thus determined is simple the proportionate value of the height of the head of the Sphinx as restored. The restoration or building in of the missing portion becomes of as great moment, from the esoteric point of view, as the building in of the unfinished portion of Aladdin’s Palace was to the value of the materials required; this great value serving to identify the Sphinx with Messiah as the Lion of the tribe of Judah (see, also, Messianic Chart, Mos. Sys. & Macrocosmic Cross). Should, now, the Messianic Triangle be produced, and the whole body of the Sphinx be depicted therein as a sequential manifestation, then it will be seen that ample space would be enclosed wherein Cassiopeia (Mazzaroth), and the Great and Lesser Bears could appear in harmony with the general construction of the three chambers of the Great Pyramid of Egypt, thus further substantiating the identicalness of the Sphinx with Messiah, and, also, of the prototypical origin of this Pyramid. In connection with this marvelous manifestation of the Messiah it must be considered that as a work of art contemporaneous with the building of the Pyramid, the Sphinx, as a semblance of Messiah, embodies the highest type of man as he existed in the year B.C. 12,098, and, hence, not only of this period, but of the Hiddekelic race as it existed in the overlap of the Hiddekelic and Euphratic Ages, or in the year B.C. 23,000; the Hiddekels, who built the Pyramid, having been brought forth in this overlap, and, consequently, witnessed the destruction of the Euphratic race. The sequence is manifest, because of this overlap, that the Euphratics were as perfect, physically, in the day they were brought forth – B.C. 29,789 – as the Hiddekels, indications also being given in an American earthwork in Sciota Valley, Ohio, that the Euphratic race was, proportionally, the same as man of today.

Now, in continuation of Messianic pertainings (see Diagram 2), Messiah as the Sphinx fills the passage of abrupt descent that marks the way to the dreadful pit of death, he thus becoming the bearer of burdens men should call their own. Again, as the Sun of righteousness he fills the chord in the arc from i to a in the Lesser Bear therein to show his supersedure of the sun upon the forth creative day, and his continuance as such until time shall be no more. The noble crown God gave his Son fits well the Sphinx; the silent witness of the depths historic world encloses. The 140 feet length of the Sphinx as thus identified with the history of the world finds its counterpart in the great cube described about the Second Temple (Zerubbabel’s), in that it comprehends the perfect labors of Messiah, and in that each as every side thereof measures 140 cubits, thereby indicating the Sphinx on an enlarged scale, as being identified with Messiah. Wherefore, the Bible in the sky – the Bible of the Angles; the Great Pyramid of Egypt – the Bible of man in the midst of the Four Ages; and the Sacred Writings of the prophets – the Holy Bible of today, are sequentially brought to notice in their respective harmonies as emanating from the One God to His people; to them, from Him who is unchangeable, all-wise, and the embodiment of absolute righteousness.

As, therefore, the building and paraphernalia of the Tabernacle of the Congregation were revealed unto Moses, as the architecture and appointments of Soloman's Temple were revealed to David king of Judah; and as the sublime Temple of Zerubbabel, with its choice fittings and embellishments, was revealed unto Ezekiel, so the same Mastermind revealed unto the people of the Hiddekelic Age, through their prophets, the plans and details of the Great Pyramid that, in harmony with the Bible in the sky, they should build it for a witness that the Lord is God, that he will smite the oppressor, and that he will bring back his people from their captivity to Death.
